Looks like you got about a foot and a half less snow than us. But looks like a good rider, and the cooler rack is always a plus. Just dont do too many wheelies.
It seems like the YTM's always have plastics like that unless its been kept indoors its whole life. Only them. I wonder what they did from the factory that causes that.

Thanks guys. I've noticed that seems to be the norm on Yamaha plastics, my neighbor has a red 85 Yamaha Moto-4 that the plastic looks the same as mine. I traded a Simplicity garden tractor for it. It had the rack when I got it but I made the trailer hitch. Rebuilt the engine in december. Its been a workhorse, just gotta make a taillight mount for it now

Oh and it still has the complete tool kit and bag under the seat

if you do a search on here you will find threads for bringing the plastic back to the original shine, with a little work you will have a nice looking trike there. I like the rear rack you have on it.

Another question, do I have to worry about the engine overheating if im doing slow trail riding or pulling a trailer say in 1st and 2nd gear for awhile?

Its cold outside, i would say no dont worry really. Not like you will have it pinned in first the whole time. Then again i am a little inexperienced with 2-strokes, so who knows. But personally, i wouldnt.
