It's a 1984 KLT 110, purchased from its second owner. The first used it exclusively as a pit bike, and the second has used it for several years just to motor around his property in PA. Always garaged, totally complete, really clean, and $460!

The fenders are a little scuffed and faded, but the original decals are in pretty nice shape. I may try to buff some of the color back to life, but they're really not too bad as-is. The original tires hold air with no leaks, no cracking, no rust anywhere, the original tool kit is intact, it starts right up, the lights work--I really couldn't be happier.

It does need a fuel petcock rebuild, but those parts are on the way.

The first owner treated the interior of the fuel tank, so there is no rust or leaks to deal with.

It's not exactly a Tecate, but for the age and condition, I just couldn't pass it up.

Thanks! I've been lurking for quite a while, and now it's time to finally step up and contribute. Now if I could just find a place to ride it here in S. Jersey...

I'll get some more pictures up in the coming weeks.

I also have an '81 KLT 200 that I picked up in non-running condition last year, but that project has been on the back burner, for the most part. It will need a top end and serious plastics rehab. And probably a little electrical work.

Why KLTs? My very first motorized anything was a 1983 KLT 200 back when I was a wee tyke. I only had it a year before going to a Bayou 185, then a Mojave 250, then street bikes, then enduro and hare scramble on Husqvarnas, and now full circle back to KLTs. Next stop KXT!

Hey David. I looked at that exact trike about a year ago....he's in Bucks County, PA. I was gonna pull the trigger on it, but I decided to go with a Big Red.

Seems well taken care of, and you definitely got it for a better price then he was asking a year ago.

good score. There is a guy in reading selling another KLT 110. You should pick that one up.........extra parts, etc.

Nice! Be careful with the shifter, they seem to be a weak spot on a lot of those bikes.
