Also just picked up and front rim in great shape with a bad tire for 20$ still waiting on clutch cable rear caliper rebuild and block off plate, grips and swing arm bearing. Most of those should be tomorrow . Hopefully will have pictures of the x tomorrow before I start anything:) first trike it's all or nothin!

187443187442That was a true barn find! I picked that 200x up from a guy that parked it for over 10 years because the tank leaked.. I sanded the pin holes and patched everything and thru paint on tank to stop it from rusting. YA I know its blue but its what I had lol

this is sleeper/ budget build so far.. going for mechanically perfect then go for cosmetics.

here it is when I drug it out of its 10 year resting place

Well today mik6 and I adjusted the chain need to pull the swing arm bolt which surprisingly came out fairly easy . We had to pull it because the swingarm adjuster bolt was bent and we broke it trying to losen it so we got the bolt out and found another one and got that all back together apparently on the 83-85 if I'm not mistaken ( was like this on my 84) there is no swing arm bearing but just a sleeve so we had that out and greased and reassembled . We then rebuilt the rear caliper and replaced the parking brake with a block off plate. We bled the brakes and the rears are awesome now. We tightened up the kick starter and greased and loosened up some bolts and pivot points. I have on it's way and new dg head pipe and muffler new clutch lever and shorty brake lever should have my new clutch cable and grips tomorrow and ill post gain after all that's on:) thanks again to mik6 for all the help:)

Good work Chris! :beer

Yeah, Beadle is good for something every now and again HAHA! Just playing Jr. :D ;)

Side note: I haven't played with 1st gen 200x's that much. I was a little surprised to hear they sent the wrong bearings.. So many of the ATC's use the same front wheel bearings. '85 ATC110 and 3rd gen 250r use the same front bearings.. and that's a fact. Don't ask me how I know ;) :D

Well I was working on my ford this weekend no surprise there and I had come across a set of tires on 8" rims I had on my Chinese 150 quad about 5 years ago and I guess Chinese quads are good for somthing bolt pattern is 4x100 which means fits right on 200x hubs:) so now I have a set of 22-11 x8 tires for the snow:) I went and played a little Monday and yesterday man they go through anything!
