Hello everybody.

Quick question - going to look at this 1982 200ATC this weekend - just need to know what model this 200 is. :wondering. I am guessing it is the entry level model. Appears to be clean and all there. Thanks in advance. BK3

I can tell you exactly what it is. It. is either 80-82 atc 200. I wouldn't say they are rare but there are not that many of them in good shape. That one looks like a really good one depending on the price. I would suggest you go buy it. It is a really good bike. I have the 83 modle the only difference. Is the 83 has front suspension. And has never given me a problem and I'm the original owner. It is not a 200s.

Hello 86125m - just to confirm - you are saying that it is just a 200 - not a 200s??? Also - judging from the pictures, what would you consider a "good ball park price" on this 200??? I appreciate your help/opinion. Thanks BK3

Has been for sale for awhile now @ $1100 - price reduced to $1000 or best. Not sure if it is worth that much even if it is in good condition. Your opinion, please. I purchased a very nice condition one owner '84 200es last Sept for $700.00 from an elderly man who could no longer ride it. Runs perfect - everything works like it should. just a few minor issues that were quick & easy fixes. Love my 200es. Just thought this 200 would be a nice addition to compliment the 200es - the wife wants to ride now.... Thanks again.... BK3

I can't tell you what its worth looking at the pics because pictures lie but what I would do I would call him up and ask if you could look at it. Go look at it. And if its as good as the pics I would offer him around 800 for it but only if its in good shape. If its has to much wrong with it or the fenders are bad because you cannot find replacement fenders for this modle I would leave it where it sits. now I still can't tell you what its worth but 800 to 1000 would probally be the ball park for one in good shape.

not sure what the market for these are like in your area, but that is a $500 trike all day here in Chicago. $700 was decent for a 200 es in good shape because it has some bells and whistles, but this is a base model and an early one without front suspension. also check for the year and model sticker on the frame, and also the CC's on the cylinder jug of the motor. 185s is same in almost every way, i have seen people swap a 200s tank on a 185 or 185 motor in a 200 frame. if it is a 185 motor the price goes down more.

Trike savior, I would have to agree with everything you said in regards to the price of the 200. It is an entry level trike with no options. I have yet to see it in person but judging from the pics - it looks like a clean unit but sometimes pics can be deceiving. Thanks for the heads up in regards to the tank switching. I had no clue that this happens. Regards,,, BK3

I dig the racks on it. Does it have a hitch? That would be a killer machine at my house especially if it had a hitch to tow a trailer. I would buy it either way. Nice atc.

That 200 looks great! If the non-visible parts are good (brakes, chain, lights, bearings, inside the tank, etc) it's probably worth the asking price.

Normally, I'm a cheap trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotr ailpro but this 200 looks complete, has both racks with the right headlight brackets, fenders and seat and tires look like they're in good shape. If a nice hardtail is what you want, $500 would be stealing that thing. $1000 would hurt but you shouldn't have to spend any big $$ on it and that would make it a bargain. I've spent $1000 on a $200 trike more than once...

First ATC I ever rode was one of the big tire 185 or 200 trikes. The specifics are a little hazy but we rented an ATC (either 185 or 200) and a KLT200 for 1/2 day at Pismo in the early 80s during a visit with our yellow Odyssey. That was a lot of fun!

I agree it looks like an '82 200. I bought one brand new at Larsen's cycle for 950$ when I was in high school (that was about one summers wages then).

I am planning to go look at it this weekend - a couple hours away from me. Will have 6 crisp one hundred dollar bills in hand. Wish me luck.
