I have a 74 atc 90. I'm gonna swap the axle out with a later one. The bolts on my 74's sprocket are different in reguards to how the "dust cover" attaches. The newer sprocket has the bolts with the small threaded tips, where the dust cover goes on and attaches with nuts. I wanna keep my chain cover. So do I need a new style "dust cover" or can I use my old 74 one? Because the 74 dust cover has an additional plate that retains the chain guard. Or can I use the old style bolts in the new sprocket? Frankly, I can't see how the old dust cover plate is even held on with the old pressed in style bolts. So in other words, if I buy the correct dust cover plate, will it still work with my 74 chain guard? Hope this isn't too confusing. Sorry.
