Did somthing stupid and just noticed it!! Do you think Im right?

My 200X will start and idle fine but just recently It still idles fine but will putter when I give it gas...Plug fine, air filter fine, but what i think happend is when I painted my tank I also painted the petcock and I think the paint is coming off in the line and dirting up the carb....Am I right??

It's very possible.. Only way to find out is pull the line, clean it out and probably going to have to pull and disassemble the carb and make sure everything is free of paint chips

Ya it will make a helluva mess for you if it's really happening and you wait. Lots of little parts inside the carb getting clogged, could make for a dangerous riding experience possibly too
