Take that how you will

I don't care how much he's put into it, that right there is only a $1,500 bike at best and still needs fixing.

I wonder how much the "rental handle bars" cost each month.

BUT HE IS ASKING ASKING $5000- NOT $1500.

He calls it a collectors item! Crappy restore with crappy plastics , a seat that don't fit, and is the wrong year. Can you imagine how the engine was put together ?.

But it has maier plastics and a great fitting made in Thailand quality 30$ seatcover . It is worth the 5 grand.

Why do people always say " its way too fast for me " so I need to sell it. Before I invest a bunch of money into something, I would make sure its the machine I want. I would think after 30+ years a guy could find enough testimonials and information to determine if said machine will be too fast when completed. I guess it supposed to sound impressive, but it just makes me want to move on as a buyer and not give it a second look. Two more things that turn me away from buying anything is "my loss is your gain" (nope...pretty much your loss is just that...your loss) and they ever popular list of parts (new carb $100, clutch kit $90, tires $300) and so on....so what? now its all just used parts...moving on.
