Wonder how big the croc was....

Don't like snakes... wouldn't like living with crocs either. Glad I don't live there!

that is awesome. love watching snakes eat. judging from the vegetation in the pics being about a foot tall, that croc had to be about 6-8 feet. the last pic of croc in snake, you can see the outline of the croc and still about 6 ft of tail behind snake. that thing could be a man eater, not just small children. awesome animal that has thrived without adaptation for millions of years.

I thought the same thing. It says they watched the 5 hour struggle. I do believe there would be tons of video?? It's posted on ABC,,not that that matters lol.. Could be fake. But stranger things have happened.

I wouldn't be surprized if the snake dies. How would it even move afterwards? That's the down side of having a brain is the size of a dried pea.

Pythodile or Crocython

I'm sure it's not the first time something like this has happened, someone just saw it this time.

The year after we moved into our home both of us had just gotten home from work and the wife unit had taken the dogs out front to do their duties (doodies?). The wife hollers in the door for me to come and check something out. There was a garter snake on the front walk in the process of swallowing a large toad, so we grabbed a couple of beers and sat on the porch observing for awhile. Interesting process. I think we have some pics around here, I'll ask her when she gets home.

And if it is real. I think the snake will be fine. I seem to remember they will go months without eating after a meal like this. He didn't get that big by eating mice :) :)
