SHOCK OIL- 84 honda 200 s

After dumping out all that nasty oil that was in the shock tubes and cleaning them out, I was wondering how much oil is supposed to be in there in the first place.
I have something that says 2.2 cc or .08 oz, do any of you know the right amount to put in.
I am going to use ATF , Thanks to all who reply.
