250 big red headlight not working

Hello everyone, was wondering if anyone can help me out here.the starter and and all the lights stopped working on my trike.i looked through the wires to find a old torn up wire.i fixed it so now the starting motor and the neutral and reversen lights work but not the headlight.when I turn on the headlight button the neutral light and starting motor wont work.i have the rear fenders off so the tailights are unplugged.so I was wonderin if anyone knows what I should look into.thanks

sunds like some wires might be connected wrong. use your volt meter and continuity tester and follow all the wires on the wiring diagram in the free online manual in the link below. click the manual in blue on the right side to download it.

Thanks for the replies everyone.i was fooling around with that wire and then the lights came on out of nowhere.must have been a loose connection or something.thanks for the responses.
