Hello roll on 3;

Unfortunately I don't know about a big bore or drag tracing application, however, Jimmy White used a KX cylinder ported by Bassani on his bike and it seemed to work out fairly well for him.

I have a sprock 300 kit on my 2cate... its awesome!!!
The 2cate started life as a 85 T3, sprock makes 1st and 2nd gen T3 big bores

I know about sprock big bores but they seem hard to get you just need to grab one when you can.
most likely will go threw custom kraft. Then have it ported. I had a L.A sleeve 75mm but it got scored
and cant go bigger.I guess I should try the kx cylinder been sitting in a box for 15 years.
Let you know in a few months what I think is better kx290 or tecate 310.

I'm surprised you can't go bigger on your La sleeve. I thought they used the jet ski piston. The JS300/650 piston is common and starts at 76mms. I wonder what piston yours uses.

Why not go to a 327? I have a Klemm's 327big bore that's going in one of my tecate's very soon

On my 84/85/86 half breed I went with a fresh Nik'd KX upper. 36mm carb, DG piped, lightened flywheel and had a ball with straight line dragging on sand + hill climbing at Silver Lake sand dunes here in Michigan.

I am confident to say you would be happy with KX set up too.

Well my L.A sleeve was maxed out at 75mm and was done about 15 years ago had a wiseco piston from L.A sleeve. Klemms sounds awesome but a lot of $$$$$
I would think.

Ezmoney1979 the 327 consists of a spacer plate for the cylinder and huge sleeve in the cylinder its so big that the cylinder head studs run into the sleeve. In very near future I will be posting pics of this bad boy Harry made years ago.
