so sick of gopro

Anyone else sick of seeing all these vids made using a god damn Gopro camera? I mean I go to watch a vid that says for example "roosting on my banshee" and then its a god damn gopro vid and all you see is some geniuis' head bobbling around while hes riding. you are not that Fu *** epic no one cares to see what you are seeing in instances like that. I watch vids to see cool things you are doing with the bike not the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro you are looking at while your bikes revving in the background. Yes Gopro has a purpose and I think there are a very few vids that are cool that are taken with gopro so unless you are skydiving, or going 80 mph through tight trails or doing bong hits in outer trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotr ailpro space or hell even beathing the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro out of a circus clown using a dented old fmf fatty pipe please just have someone take the video before you upload.... ok im done ranting :)

LOL! I actually do get frustrated with the same type of GoPro vids you're talking about. Here's one for ya, Isle of Man race. 29 miles as fast as you can go. I didn't watch the whole thing, I kind of like the combo videos where they have some GoPro type views ,street level views and aerial views. Do a search on Youtube for Isle of Man race. Some pretty good crashes happen during this race.

So I have to return the thread to moderate sanity and come to my own defense lol. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find someone that can operate a camera with even just moderate competence?? Much less one that wants to follow you around and video you ride your 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler or whatever else. One alternative is to mount the thing on a pole sticking out from the rig. Yeah, that ain't gonna last 15 seconds riding through the woods. The other option is a tripod, but you can't do a ride video when your constantly having to stop and move the damn thing, and you get no sweep because no cameraman. Personally I don't have the money to hire a whole film crew to make my 10 minute or less youtube videos. Most of us make do with what we have and you ought to appreciate that we go to the trouble to film trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro and put it together to share. I sure as hell don't have to - wouldn't hurt me none.

Thats awesome Dammit! (lol) What kind of pole is that you have it on? Looks like a CB whip antenna but I don't think that would be stout enuf. That would be a fun angle to play with except for branches haha. I might try the underneath one at the Mud Nationals though, that would be great in the water.

The fork tube is another cool spot to mount it.

Inside a wheel might be fun too if it would hold on haha.

I like that whip cam. I just hate watching videos of what someone is seeing. if that was the case I could just watch a video of a guy hiking with a go pro on his hat. I am not dissing people who use them just to the people who post tons of stupid ass videos of the same boring scenery I like to see the bike. maybe im alone in this who knows and tbh who cares just giving my 2 cents
