Why wouldn't you be riding right now...? I used to love snow days. I grew up in Bayfield, and still have family there, so I know exactly what you're dealing with. First real winter you've had in 10 yrs or so....

Snows too deep to ride unless you go on the road and that's no fun

We used to let all the air out of our tires and ride the snowmobile trails.... Paddles would help, but I never had any as a kid.

Has anyone built a ski that works? I tried a wide one I made out of steel about 8 in wide and strapped it to the tire but it really drags and dosent float very well but it turns well also has anyone ever took a snowmobile track and bolted it together so you can air the tire down and slide it on then air the tire up so it stays on??

Member "kebby28" made a snowmobile track fit over an atv tire. Check out this thread.

Yeah, kinda sucks that the snow is melting and the snowmobile trails are closed now. Good thing I love summer riding just as well.

Snow riding is a blast if the snow is not too deep.

Yep... I heard... I bet you remember WI winter now.

If it makes you feel any better... Cali is gonna dry up and shrivel off the face of the earth. Was nothing but 3-4mos of straight rain and undrivable dense fog, for the winter months, when I moved here in '84

It all comes in cycles...
