I picked up a 1985 atc 350x and it needs a rear axle bearing holder. Anyone have one they would part with..? Paypal ready

Thanks..

Just go on ebay and buy a new duel row carrier, comes complete with bearing and seals, for under $90 shipped. On the 85 you will need to run the later style sprocket bolts. I believe it is the same one that the 300ex and the 250x use, that is why they are so cheap.

Thanks for the info.. So if I run the same set up as my 86 350x I should be good?

I just did one a few weeks ago get one of these 86' style carriers off ebay or somewhere similar and an 86 style sprocket (allows for bolts to be countersunk) and I think it was 4-6 o rings. very simple! I just looked at the diagram of an 86' 350X rear end on bikebandit.com and ordered all the O-rings for like 15$. but those carriers like I bought come already pressed with bearings and seals just add grease.

Good stuff man glad to help. If you r like me I took mine apart and looked to the manual to put back together, not much use u gotta look to see where the O-rings do "belong" but deff tighten down axle nuts to spec! good luck!
