Not a project but was cleaning up the shop the other day and decided to put some parts that were laying around together and this is what I ended up with.

Bandito Frame, Pauter Motor, Trapp pipe & Springer Front.

Just one question. Unless it's in a museum, aren't they all an ongoing project? It seems like I always have something to fix. That's ok. It just means more test rides!

well yes we are always buying parts here because we have so many bikes. But id say the bike that are running and get used every day are done. But my latest project is an 84 200m I want to get it together as cheap as possible and then buy a few parts for it every few months untill it done.but I've got a good start really nice rear fenders a solid frame axel and front end all the wireing which is all intact a really nice tank.

That's my 200x motocross trike. I'm looking at getting some new tripples made for a set of inverts I have, so its on hold for now.

Engine is a 198cc e-start zongshen, 250r rear suspension. There's a thread on it "Zongshen X Build" or something like that.

Finally?

There sure are lots of people on this site that fancy themselves the first to try something.

Im gonna to guess that the first time someone put a 250r rear suspension on a 200x was oh around 25-30 years ago.

No hatin from me oldskool, but bro theres nothing new or brilliant about this setup, just takes a little cutting.

Its such a builder friendly platform Bob. Many of the components can be upgraded to modern equipment just by bolting it on. Im sure you know this, I just think its why the popularity is on the rise.

Thanks to Lifan, its not too tough or expensive to build a 230cc e start bike with reverse from an 83-85 200x.

Who here doesnt want that....

Its the 86 350x i just procured from MISTA CLEEN out west. it sho nuff iz clean i tells ya. really I have only found a few minor spots of rust on it, its freaking pristine. Here's how she sits; new fast trekker rear tires arrived this evening. New 10" rear tires showed up monday night with a front Duro Hook Up tire. waiting on Inverted triple tree set up and a 10" front wheel from Honnerlaw. Its my project thats the most incomplete this week. Next week after the new 70 finds its home in my garage things will be a different story
