I would like to research the people that were pioneers in the sport but doesn't seem that much info out there, i read the couple things from airfoolers.com but want more.
Its amazing to think, what other sport has ever been essentially shut down?
Beginning of the nanny state and all down hill since then IMO.

Bob Oliveira from Eureka, Ca. was one of the most innovative pioneers of this sport. Dating back to the early to mid 70's. He was doing it when it wasn't cool. His motors were some of the trickest ever built. The name of his company was 3 Wheeler & Odyssey Parts & Service. Others were Smitty's ATC responsible for building Tom Gaian, Mark Waxeldorfer and Dean Sundahl's killer 180's and Danny's Machine Works who also started in the 70's. They built just about all of the Team BAPP bikes. All of this well before the 250R was ever dreamed of.
