Asking other people if you should buy something means you already are dead set on getting it but you know you shouldn't because of financial reasons (aka a women saying no). So you know what you need to do, go get it and ride it like it deserves.

I buy first... ask later.... but I make the money. It doesn't always go my way... but I do get my stuff! Maybe a little doghouse with it, but I'm OK with that.

Yep! always buy first, this way, no matter what, you got the toy! Now its just a matter of waiting her out until she'll start talking to you again, which sometimes, can also be a Plus! :D

Not a trike, but I have a friend who bought a 1996 Banshee in 1998. He and his wife told me the story of how he got it. He said he knew she would never let him get it so he told her that he bought her something. Then she said that he was really nice and sweet. He pulled out this little enclosed box and she knew her bought her a ring. She said that she she was pretty upset when she opened it and there was this fu@@ing key inside! I wish I would have thought of something like that!

I take a different approach, started with old snowmobiles .... we shop together and find deals, decide if worth it and go after it. Some are resold, some kept. It makes it alot easier in the long run. I always laugh when I sell something and the guy talks about now he has to get it in garage without his wife seeing it.....
