There were a few other things about this build that bugged me, mainly because I do feel its an 87, but why do all this and then put the 86 sticker set on? And if I am not mistaken, the warning labels on the gas tank are 87. But I don't own an 87 and have never seen one in person so I cannot be sure. Very nice, but.......$12,000??? Have we skipped past the 5-6K range now and went all the hell the way up to over 10K on 250ES trikes that have been restored? The other things that bugged me were the color of the motor mounts and some of the bolts, it looked like they didn't clean the bolts very well (or replace them when you go this far with one), and the yellow sticker on the headlight on the right side.....it looks like a "Helmet Holder" sticker....but I don't think those were ever up that high either.
Damn. I am going to have to rethink keeping my 86 when I am done lol. :naughty:
