Hello. I recently purchased a 1985 125M and I'm working on making it my own. I would like to gear it down a little as I find the low range gears to be a little fast and I am not concerned with the high range being particularly fast, in fact I rather it be slower in high range and not strain the motor or clutch to take off. So what would y'all recommend me change my sprockets to? I think the factory set up on this bike is 14 tooth front and 49 tooth rear. And where can I find aftermarket sprockets in different sizes to fit my trike?
Thanks.

Bike Bandit has sprockets for your machine. I would think a 13 tooth front sprocket would drop it a little for you but you may need to experiment to get the affect you desire.

Thanks! Do you recommend increasing the T # at the rear sprocket?

It may help, but like I said, you are going to have to experiment. No one setup is perfect for everyone. Tire size also plays a role.

Ok thanks! I'm going to try 13 and 50. Just placed the order. I'll be going with 22" mud lites
