Choke question on honda 200X ATC

Forgive the possible stupidity of this question (and possible banning there of) but where the heck is the choke on a '85 Honda 200X ATC??? I have a manual for a 1986 trike but it shows the choke on the handlebar cross piece...it isn't there on mine. I've searched on the net and found nothing useful...well, except this forum.

Choke is on the left side of the carb, if you are seated on the trike facing forward. It is the black lever in attached pic. All years 200x carbs interchange.

Cleaned carb, new spark and cable, wouldn't kick start. Luckily we have a steep driveway. Finally got it started. Even got it to kick start after riding for a while. Dragged the pasture with it (I know, a pathetic job for the little trike) and had a blast. Did figure out that 1/4 throttle and full choke made kick start easier. Gotta love a Honda engine. Haven't ridden one since an old CB90 waaaaaaaaaaay back when.
