tri moto 175 basket case i think!!

193613Hey guys I'm new I just got a tri moto 2 weeks ago I can't shift into gear at all any ideas ? Thanks any help would be appreciated and it won't start either my theory is if I can get it into gear I can push start it

Things in the shifter linkage rust does the lever move
Clean the carb before u push it all day
Have fun
If u can't wheelie that thing give up

Yes the lever moves just wrong click into gear

This is where the fun starts
It might be in 5th try rocking it back and forth (that tends to settle the little ones)
The not running thing is what would worrie me

welcome to the forum here's a link to a manual http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manuals/Yamaha/ytm175_82-83_tri-moto_manual.pdf does the motor turn over or is it stuck? also you will probably have to take off the right hand crankcase cover to see why it wont shift, the manual will show you how if you do don't mix up any of the clutch plates they need to stay in order.
