I'm not building a racer just something to mess around on, gravel roads trails what not. Cylinder is at 71.8mm. so Im looking at a last bore to 72mm. The standard oem cast piston is around $60 compared to wiseco at $120. I was looking for 72mm cast piston but I cant' find any so it looks like wiseco it is unless anyone knows of any companies offering cast piston at that size? I know wiseco is forged but idk if it would be necessary Im not gonna be drag racing but idk maybe forged on air cooled would be little better as far as heat transfer, and not having pieces break off. I did some searches on forums before posting it seemed most suggested the cast over the forged for moderate riding and forged for racing setups suggesting forged wasn't worth the extra money unless plan on racing.
