Well im almost at the end of a 6 year tri-z build and i was hoping someone could post me a few pictures or a couple links for some good pics. I need decent ones of where the wiring is ran on the frame...basic factory location. Im sure there have got to be a ton of pics on the web but i havent found any decent ones. My web is limited to my phone at the moment so that doesnt help.

let me see what I can do for you, will take me a bit to pull the plastics off, but mine is a 1985, so if yours is an 86 the wiring might be slightly different, also I installed a keyed ignition on my light guard as well.

here are your pics, I do have mine licensed for the street so there is a brake light connected to the auxiliary on the tail light and the keyed ignition up by the head lights. 19426619426719426819426919427019427119427219427319 42741942751942761942771942781942791942801942811942 82

I'll add these if it helps. I made a video of all the wires and cables when I tore it down, but I can't load it on here. If you need larger images PM me and I'll email them.

Ohhhhh another thing...i wrote my vin down when i tore it apart...lost that paper. I had it blasted and sure enough half my vin is gone. I wrote down what i could read- beginning and end of it but most of the middle is gone, my question is does anyone know if some of the vin was a standard zero or letter so maybe i can fill in my blanks??? Wanna reg and insure it. Ill dig out the #'s i was able to read and post them in a little bit and see what i can come up with.

Rub the heck out of it with carbon paper and then put Scotch tape on it and rub that hard too. Then pull the tape off and put it on a sheet of white paper. You MIGHT get it that way. The Mexican authorities check them that way and it works very well.
