Well, HELLO all!
Thought I'd drop by and say hi.
New member here from sunny Greece. Just bought my first 3 wheeler, the KXT250 Tecate-3 that I always wanted since I was a kid.
The bike is a 1987 model. It was bought without plastics, tank, seat and exhaust, but everything else is all there. Like propper all there. All the covers, rubbers, lights, swithces etc are all present and in decent nick.
So there you have it.
Hope to stick around to check some of your lovely threads and builds.
Been building bikes for a while now, gone over a lot of kdx250s, kx250s, A LOT of cbr1100xx blackbirds (building a turbo one too..)some yammie tdm850s etc etc..
So, what could possibly go wrong???!!!!!

Cheers guys,
Chris

Gotta add that all these bikes have all been ground up rebuilds by yours truly (with a lil help from my random mates..)
The kdx250sr (on pic 1) has been sold now (yesterday) and the z thou (ex z750, now 1000 with zx9r goodies..), is also kinda sold (to a good mate)..
There's a few more, a moped (gilera runner 180sp), a suzi rm125x 1981, a yammie yz250 1987) and a couple more in complete disarray, but they ALL need a LOT of work still...
One bike at the time...
:)
Cheers!
Chris
PS. I am still trying to put some pennies together to finish my dream bike, which is a cbr1100xx that I been trying to turbocharge for the last 4 years now.. Its half way there, with some nice bits (carbon wheel, +10inch swingarm etc etc..) :)

Great news! I got a good lead on the parts I am missing! Wooohooo!
Granted they are not mint, the plastics have seen better days, there's a crack in the front fender and there's a small piece missing from the left outmost rear corner of the rear panel, BUT, I can always change them over latter and for the moneys I found them I dont really care! After all I do use all my bikes so there, less to worry about when I roll her over... :P
R.J.M. I'll get the camera out mate. Soon, I promise. :)

Didn't work out with the parts in the end. Oh well, I am sure the vendors here will have what I need. Just a matter of saving up a lil more to make the budget work I guess..
Oh well... :)

Thanks Oile! :)
And thank you JasonB. :)
I freaking lurve KXTs too since I was a kid! Having said that, that atc500r surely seems yummie to me... :D
Actually there's not a lot of other 3wheelers out here apart from KXTs... Seems honda didn't fancy sending some over?
BTW my KXT was made in the US? At least it says so on the frame sticker!

On another note, where should I start a thread with the bits I am missing in case someone got some?
Cheers guys,
Chris
