Can use a trailer marker light for a tail light, although I believe the KLT tail lights can be found on eBay for $10-15.

I use the LED marker lights for tail lights on my 70s.

I don't know if this is the right one for you but this is what I use on my Tecates. They use the same light, same bracket, etc.

The light blew because it needs a regulator. A 2-wire "dirt bike regulator". Or all the lights hooked up with the correct stock wattage. The lights are the regulator on most of these things.

the lighting on non battery atv's are 9 times out of 10 running ac voltage unregulated whereas a light from a car runs 12 volt dc voltage regulated, that's why you popped it
