It's a little rough - the cases are cracked and repaired and there is a large chunk of one case missing - anyone have a good case for sale?

First off, welcome to the site.
Secondly, nice shop, I'm jealous!
Thirdly, you got a Z, I'm jealous again!
Fourth, you get to play with trikes and such AND make money. Yet again, I'm jealous! lol...

Good luck with the Z build, cant wait to see how it turns out!

Nice bike. The 83 through at least 87 yz250 left/stator side case SHOULD be the same as z as well as some yz490 years. The clutch side on a yz 250 will be different because of the power valve but you can always run a valve jug too. Or put z kick start gears in 83-87 yz and drop the whole motor in. Double check part numbers on the cases for 80's 490 and stator side 83-87 yz250. Half the price on ebay...double check all your part numbers you need, it will save you tons on money in the long run. There is actually a good list of interchangeable parts here on 3ww but google it, its easier to find that way and as far as engine parts go i dont think it covers everything. Just do some research and i think you'll do fine.
