it indeed was. buddies' 81 250r was sold about a year ago and he found this wheel laying around with a new tire on it. its a front tire and wheel so it will only work on 3 hub front spindles. don't know what type of tire that is though.

Used to be called Carlisle trail pro, now called a nanco bushwacker or something very similar. Very heavy tire, front end wont pick up as well. Clogs with mud easily. Very very hard but wears great, will probably outlast your trike. Has many times been called the worst ATV tire ever, but for free, who cares?

Toss the tire keep the rim. Haha. That is the remake of the Garbage called a Carlisle Trail Pro. Heavy for sure. Dont even need air in them to run them They always look full. But hey a free tire is a free tire. To be honest I didnt even know anybody had bought the remake. I learned something new today.

it look new to me. my buddy said it was new. it was his spare front tire and he proved it to me because he upgraded his rear wheels to 10 inch and had something called a mud machine on there 22x12-10 i think?

currently, i have a atc110 and will put it on the front of that if it fits. its a 3-bolt hub. i like the aluminum wheel and to make it better, there is a tube in the tire so there are no leaks whatsoever. my current rear tires leak through the 2 piece wheels.

if anyone is interested in it, i am in wisconsin and would give it to someone who could use it.

Id would like to get a front rim like that for my 81 250r. Or an aluminum 7 inch 70 rim.

if you live near wisconsin, i would give it to you. i think its a direct bolt on 3 hub wheel like the steel one is. comes with the tire included with air and innertube as well.

If you are coming to trikefest next year, bring it. We will hang it up or try to burn it.

Not only are those tires heavy but they ride rough as well.

i am getting the tire taken off the rim. i would be happy to give anyone on here the rim if they want it. i don't want to waste a tire with so much life left on it so i am replacing the old cepek turf tamer clone knobby on the front of my 110 with this tire.

think its a 3/100. it did have a front axle with it but i gave it away. was the oem front axle so its the oem atc250r bolt pattern from the early years when a 8" front wheel was used. having trouble dismounting the tire though. buddy said he chose the tire because it was rated as a 4-ply tire but as tough as a 6 ply tire. the one on his machine before he sold it was still in good shape even after 5 years of riding through tough terrains.
