Hi can any one help me I have had my quad rebored and new piston done
By a bike mechanic ran it in slowly then went out on a track first time round it over heated
Lost and soon as I put water in and start it it blows water out of expansion bottle
Can any one help me please.

check the water pump. the propeller is just pressed on. they are known to strip, drill a hole and pin it.

Tri-z's also have a thermostat like an automobile, the thermostat housing is located just above the cylinder head, bolted to the frame. If the thermostat fails and sticks shut it will cause the engine to overheat. I just remove the thermostat from my z's and run without it....billet thermostat delete kits pop up for sale on here from time to time also.

What temp should a z run at, I'm going to be firring mine up this weekend for the first time and I've got a fancy temp gun.
