I've herd u can heat up the boot and it can stretch to fit bigger carbs just don't know how much it will stretch without ripping. I should of bought a 2nd gen boot being 30mm and I think that would a fit the 32mm carb no problem but I didn't realize it was 27mm til after I bought it. So I'm gonna heat it up and try to see if I can fit it. Just curious how big a carb someone has with a 1st gen intake boot.

Use a heat gun and as long as theirs no rubber dry rot it should go on pretty easy .

I boiled my 32 boot from my tri-z and put a 36mm in it, i heard this works up to at least 38mm...not sure about your application, worth a shot for sure.

Well that stinks...if its on good and tight and its not sucking air i wouldnt worry too much about it. Glad you got it to work.
