Ok first off I smoked the exhaust pipe over charcoals for about 3 hours clean as a whistle ,got a new dry air filter from ims ,but they had no gas caps which is what I went there for ,got a new petcock and gasket from eBay it's longer than oem but it will work, put the new copy cat carb on cause I lost the choke plunger when the dam kids were fighting.now I set the air screw between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 and idle screw somewhere around 2 turns it ran fine when it was 90 out but now it's like 70 it runs for a minute and when I put it in run it sounds like it's flooding with gas and stallin out? Can a 20% difference effect the carb that much? Sorry for the long post.... I'm pretty mechanical except when it comes to engines?:wondering
