people have been abusing them and bumping their posts excessively overall I think they wanted to change it because before there wasn't a "written set of rules" now there is and there are consequnces for abuse.
This is what I got anyway from reading the rules.

No problem. We needed to do something and do it quickly. After some discussing it we agreed on giving a weeks notice before locking the forum to Read only. Then we will give another week for viewing the old Classifieds. After that they are gone.

The New "ATV Classifieds" will be unlocked before the old one is locked. This way we keep a Classifieds forum rolling. ;)
