Harbor freight catches alot of crap, their stuff is hit and miss..especially hand tools..but I went there to check out some of their boxes in particular their 56" roller and top box..and let me tell you they are stout..alot better than the c-man out these days..and if you dont wanna re finance your house for a 6-8k snappy box take a look at em..any other suggestions?

Mac makes a nice tool box. Love mine. I don't care for the locks on the Snap-on boxes, or how heavy the draws are to pull out. Price tag hurts, too.

Yea they are not that bad for the money we have 3 H/F roll around tool boxes/carts and don't have any thing bad to say about them. But if there was a harbor freight around when I got into wrenching I would probley have one of there boxes other than the mac one I have now that I cant get anything for other than slides cause they discontinued the series of Macsimizer I have. :(

In the plastic injection mold building industry "Kennedy" tool boxes are the norm. Over the years the price has gone through the roof and the quality has gone in the toilet. One of the older guys that didn't give a crap what people thought went out and bought one of the big harbor freight roller tool boxes. I must say I was impressed with it.

I jumped on the snappy band wagon at MMI and 10 years later all my tools are finally paid off. But I can take a nap in the top of my tool box. I was at EAA Airventure in Oskosh, WI this last week and picked up this little tool for building clamps out of safety wire. It works great thought I would pass it along.

Do it next year. It is a awesome event 7000 planes fly in to camp and even more RV's. The thing is huge and worth the journey. I work there every year if you can make it I'll give you a tour in the golf cart. I took 400 pictures and 50 videos. Thunder birds were there this year Amazing.

I scored these Stanley vidmar boxes cheap on craigslist,, cleaned and painted them and built a benchtop, they are very happy in my garage,, and nothing beats 28" deep drawers!!

I have a mac and an older HF box.

Only problem with the HF box is after 10 years or so, the rails on a few drawers don't work too well.
