Those things are sweet I saw that same one in orange like that at the county fair. A local Yamaha dealer had brought some quads and side by sides along. Super nice

Nothing wrong with keeping Momma happy and getting what SHE wants instead of what you want her to have.... kind of like helping her buy a handgun... Its easy to think you know whats best for her...

Yea... why do I have the urge to convert it... :/
It would look pretty cool with only one wheel out front. :)

Hey there is nothing wrong with that... just don't get too much seat time on it or you will never want to ride your 250r again... I don't care what anyone says jump on a yfz and you will smile ear 2 ear...

on a side note I worked on one of those two years ago that was decked out for dune racing, and in my researching was reading that yamaha has them running slightly lean stock, so if they haven't changed that be prepared to richen up the circuit just a hair with the mix screw, also there was a mod you can do with the carb that I have varying thoughts about on the throttle let off. the one I worked on had a mikuni with a special part in there that would slowly let the throttle off even if you just suddenly dropped off the throttle to keep it from completely cutting out. here is a vid of it not sure if yours has this carb or not here is a link to the vid just incase. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKyHSJb_ZD8 I don't recommend it if your carb is set slightly lean as that will help with the let off, and the lean condition from burning up the motor.

Get yourself some Plexus to keep that plastic AS NEW. It hurts like heck to buy,,$14- $20 for the big can, But is worth every last cent and then some for NEW plastic. It was developed for fighter jet canopies, and works accordingly. ZERO static, and leaves a very, very nice scratch resistance. If you were ever to chop it for a 3 wheeler, seek advice here from Jason Hall, Louis Mielke, Kasey and others.. Not tcp. Great choice on her bike.

I'll look into that for sure thank you.

And as far as chopping it? If I did that, My wife would 100% DEXTER my ass! No one would ever find my body. But I have thought about it :)
