I have a pair of 200x trikes that both seem to have clutches that slip under hard throttle in any gear. My gut says they're probably going to need to be replaced. Anything to check before I year into them?

Pretty much going to need clutch kits... Springs, discs, and steel plates should do it...

I would recommend making sure your clutch lever has some play. If the cable is too tight it will cause it to slip.

If the cable is fine, its clutch rebuild time

Make sure your clutch lever is not adjusted too tight. Usually a clutch will slip in higher gears first when they start to go south.

If you do have to replace them, I reccomended the Barnett dirt digger Kevlar clutch.

Always replace the springs when you replace your clutch like Ride-red said. I've read that they get weak over time and weak clutch springs can cause your clutch to slip. I'm not saying just replace your springs, I know some people who don't want to do the whole job.
