Thinking about going to Trikefest 2015, this will be our first time going ever. Who is going and how much would I need for expenses for the week?? Coming from Upstate New York.

Well not including gas in your truck to get there and back home....
it's only like $75 bucks or something like that at haspin acres for the whole week I was there. I used about 15-20 gallons of gas ( 4 strokes will use less gas I ride 2 strokes)
I spent around $100 bucks eating breakfast and dinner at a small little diner all week.
We also brought lunch meat, snacks and beer in coolers. You are allowed to have fires but its going to be 90 degrees or raining so I didn't really see many campfires. That's why you should bring food and or get food in the area. So it's actually pretty cheap. Well worth the money for the fun and the experience. Ill definetlly be there. We're coming from Pittsburgh Pa.

Well for you it will depend if you bring matt. You will have to figure in emergency room expenses if you do LOL.

I'm definitely going along with some other guys from Greene County PA. Maybe a crew from Cameron WV also.

I'm seriously considering going. H.C, where is Greene county? I live in a spot where Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties all come together.

Southwest corner of PA. I'm about 1 hr south of Pittsburgh. I'm the same age as you, 2 kids also...gotta relive the old 3 wheelin' days with some buddies at Trikefest. Can't wait.

AFTER FATHERS DAY correct??? So June 22 thru 28th for 2015.

Have the dates been picked yet? I have my own business and have to write it down on my calendar soon. I want to try to come this year.

Attending a trikefest is in my top three trike events I want to do in the next couple years .Racing at Pinelake and Unadilla are the other two.

I`ll give you twenty bux in gas to take back with you our new local sports anchor Brian Chojnacki......he came from Oswego and that accent is hard to understand here in Kin-tucky

I`m still trying to figure out what a "Tinn-see Tite-in" is but I think its a football team.

I jest...Brian is OK

Save up lots of gas money and bring enough spare parts to build a whole `nother trike in case you break stuff (which you absolutely will).......We ate bologna and hot dogs all week.......Hell me and Pork never even took a shower the whole four days we were there. We were too distracted with fun stuff.

the ride home was 'aromatic' so to speak

Be aware - if you end up coming - you'll be back every year - honestly it is the most fun thing you can do within legal limits of the law! See you guys there!

Samjp22 and myself are REALLY hoping we can make the trek from Alberta for 2015. Bit of a haul but worth the drive from what I here. Just got to buy a covered trailer to haul/sleep in. A good excuse to spend $ if I ever heard one ;-)

You don't have to camp but it is a heck of a long commute back and forth from
Michigan.

My best advice for TRIKEFEST 2015...bring a bathing suit ( more than one if you like to wear a dry one at the beginning of each day) and begin praying from now till then that the river is cold and accessible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pittsburgh Pete, I'll be in touch for more advice on the trip. My excitement is getting a little contagious around the PA/WV area. Not sure how big my crew is gonna get. Could be up to 10 now.... 1 for sure(me!!!)
