Stiff Suspension

I have an old Kawasaki 250klt and it has front suspension that's so stiff you can't move it at all. Is it possible to fix this without buying new parts? I'm not much of a mechanic.

It's probably all rusted up. Or something's broke. Disassemble and take pictures and then we will have something more to go by.
