So I need a new stator since my starter reduction gears ground up and chewed up my stator. My flywheel says ND for Nippon Denso. How do I verify a stator on eBay was from ND or Mitsuba. Are there any part numbers on the stator? I already got a ND flywheel to replace mine..now I just need a good stator.
Thanks

I'm really not sure......but there is also the pickup coil difference, one have one wire, the other 2 wire.Maybe it's a difference between mitsuba and ND......not sure.Or ask to the seller the diameter of the stator....ND and mitsuba are different

Does anyone recall the pickup coil wiring for the two? I do not have my atc around nearby to verify. I just know I absolutely have a ND flywheel.

I also remember that my stator had cream colored coatings on the windings. I am seeing some staters do not have this cream color, more copper. Could this be a difference between ND and mitsuba as well?
