View Full Version : New to 3WheelerWorld but long time rider.

I would just like to say hello to everyone on the forums.

I'm from the twin cities area in Minnesota, lots of 3 wheelers up here.

I've been on my dads 3 wheelers since a very young age and recently purchased my own.

We mainly use the 3 wheelers for deer hunting, trail riding, and early ice fishing. No racing trikes as of now, but I plan to get one someday, just waiting for the right one to pop up.

1980 Kawasaki KLT 200 - Dad
1985 Honda 125M - Girlfriend

There not perfect looking but run very well.

Nice to be apart of the 3 Wheeler World Community and hopefully I can be some help for someone on here.

When you say there's lots of trikes "up here", are you talking about your area or just your family? Just messing with you. At least with all of those trikes in one family, you should always have someone to ride with! Welcome!

Both actually, my dad has told me stories from twenty years ago when him and his buddies had 20+ trikes at my cabin and they would ride all day long. But it seems like there is quiet a few trikes in Minnesota. I see lots of nice big reds around. I guess I don't know if it's more then other states. Mainly Hondas, a few Yamahas and less Kawasakis.

I do have a question. Could someone point me towards an air filter guide/cage whatever you want to call it that fits the standard air box for a 83 ytm 200k. I have looked around online but cannot find one. I can only find the filter itself. I just need one that's fits I don't care if it's OEM or not. Thanks for any help.
