I am going this afternoon to look at a 1985 Big Red this afternoon. Reportedly it runs/shifts/brakes well, but is "cosmetically" challenged. I plan on running a compression test on the motor. Questions I have are specific to this model.
Compression test hot or cold?
What is considered "good compression #? 160 PSI?
My normal procedure for this is kill switch off, throttle WFO. Anything different for this motor?
