Hi Guys just got a 83 250r with a 300r kit and cant get it to rev clean,idles ok part throttle ok but just when it goes to hit above quarter throttle it starts spluttering and wont rev clean.when its running out of gas, it revs to the moon clean. it has a bigger carb than the 250, had the jets out cleaned in sonic bath no joy tried gas at 32`1 no joy. thought maybe it could be the stator? have not checked the resistance on it yet.what should it be? and as far as crankseals go havnt checked for leakdown either . any ideas before i go this way? guy said it ran good[ been laid up a year] and i have no reason to doubt him.
