second gen 250r engine swap ....what can be done?

hello..which engine can be use to swap a second gen 250r....the third gen cooled engine fit on an second gen frame ....i know the chain is on the other side ...can flip the rear axle or use a third gen swing arm.

81-84 AIRCOOLED motors can be used

to use the red 81/82 motor in the 2nd gen frame you will need to locate and swap in a 2nd gen shift shaft and shifter. you will need to do this to clear the 83/84 frame. simple swap.

ok i made a mistake ...my question is ...can i fit a liquid cooled or a four stroke on a 1984 atc 250r

with time, skill, materials, and the will to do, anything is possible.

nothing will straight bolt-in other than 81-84 250R atc air cooled motor.
