I have a 97 rm 125 thats a pos. im wondering if its possible to put the forks on my 185s. Ive used the search feature and cant find much on putting dirt bike forks on a 185s or any 3wheeler for that matter. Anybody know what it would take to do this ir if its possible? I am a decent welder. My main concerns are the forks being way to tall and fitting an atc/ atv style wheel in whe forks. Any input is apreciated

I think you will find the forks are way too tall. You wold have to rake it out to a chopper? Defiantely take a special tripple tree that you can adapt with a 185 stem. Dont think you will have much luck. Start searching for an aftermarket suspended 185 front end. Something similar to what is on this machine he just pick picked up http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/170172-Fully-suspended-185s-100.

You need to measure what diameter the fork is. It should be anywhere from 27-33mm. I think the ideal length should be around 26-28 inches. Anything longer will give you the chopper look.

Here are a set of aftermarket triple clamps. They are for the smaller tubes.....27-30mm.
