Long crank?. Whats that? Asking over $7000 for that is at LEAST twice of what it's worth. Especially in So. Cal. I have a long rod engine in mine, maybe I should buy it so I can have a long crank to go with it. Plastics that have been hacked up with a sawzall do not qualify to be good condition in my book.

sawzall..... what? where? u must be looking at a different listing because those rears seem to be a clean cut to me. or are you complaining because you dont like cut plastics? some people ride in clean areas like dunes where they dont need 2 giant floppy plastic parachutes to stop the mud from hitting them.

looks like a typical coc crate motor tho, which may be why the asking price is so high as he may be trying to recoup some of the money he overpaid when buying that. besides that, that bike is super clean.

I also believe that is a "COC" engine. But it's a stock jug, so off the self it's under 2 grand.(his shop is about 2 miles from where i'm sitting right now).

And you are right, I don't like cut fenders but thats beside the point. The point is that those fenders are worth about $50, where as nice set of used OEM rears will be about $450. And here in so cal (where that trike is located) I buy complete, unmolested 250R's with OEM plastics for around $1500. Maybe someone from the mid west or east coast would pay $7000 but I don't think he is going to get even half of that here.
