I picked up this KFX from my cousin back in June, he wrecked it and busted the fenders, bent a tie rod and a front wheel. I replaced everything and have really been enjoying it,especially since my 250r was sold. It's slower then the 250r was but is a little more practical for my riding.

Thanks! It's nice having a shop to keep stuff inside.

I'm looking for a wrecked one myself. I'm having some custom powder coat to match my Brute Force 2013 green plastic, same as the green Kawasaki Ninjas and such and I want to build my 1100cc V-Force using this green too.

I really got a heck of a deal on this thing, with the price I paid for the quad and the parts to fix it, I am at about $700.00. Mechanically,it's great for an 04 model and I really enjoy riding it,even being stock. I do plan on some upgrades at some point, you can tell it's detuned pretty good.

Yes the respond real good to mods. Put a Muzzys super pro pipe on it and go my std. bore with stage 2 cams and you will go from 32hp to over 60rwhp. Super reliable and still runs on pump gas. http://www.fourstroketech.net/

I have read all kinds of good stuff about your engine kits and have either a standard bore or 730 in mind with the Muzzy exhaust and12 hole mod.

You got it, and once you ride something like that you will be super in love with it!

i think im almost convinced on doing a 730 kit in my kfx 700 also

op, these kfx's are a blast. i traded a banshee for one. never looked back. they seem slow off the line, but like mickey said, they respond well to mods. i have a 12 hole mod, jet kit, and muzzy super pro. it seemed to wake it up alot. the super pro sounds like pure heaven. like a supercharged monster truck. its loud, but not obnoxious loud

I saw your thread a week ago and that was what reminded me to start this one.lol Looks like you had the same color as mine did originally but went orange instead of green like me. I am also from Louisiana but just moved to Oregon three weeks ago.
