I got the motor put in, Now I'm having issues with it running, 1st the carb pours gas out the bottom, Which i switched carbs, that one was better, but when I started it, its "skipped" while it ran, Idles fine, but as soon as you push the throttle it skips, Like the choke level being on. If you pull the choke (which i can't get the cable and handle got work exactly correctly) the skipping get worse and it stalls. I cleaned the "leaking" carb, and tried that one, that one ran better but still skipped a little.
Now it started leaking again. Im almost positive the carbs are causing the skipping, but should I look anywhere else as well?

Does the plunger pull out of the carb when choking?

Did you set the carb to factory spec?

Check your float needle or adjust your float, blow the orfaces out with compressed air.

choke plunger should not come out of carb when cable is pulled need to check in manual on how to adjust that choke if it is not closing properly it could be causing it to be running rich on fuel

the float should be ok, the needle Idk what to check for, its a very simple carb, the only factory spec is 2 turns out for pilot screw. The choke plunger doesnt come out, I was just wondering how it worked, if it plunges when choked or unchoked?

choke plunger should move up when cable is pulled to allow more fuel, down when not needed

Ok thats what I thought. Even when i push the plunger all the way down by hand it runs funny, Ill take a video and put it on youtube.

Short video isnt much to go by. Clean every hole in carb with a small wire and compressed air?? Check for vauum leaks? Check cam timing and valve clearances?? Have a manual?

Also had a thought, you might check muffler make sure it's not clogged up
