Looking to purchase a custom three wheeler that is for sale locally, the dealership that currently owns it said it used to be a museum peice. Wanting to know what model it is and if parts are hard to find. I know its definatley not stock but bear with me.

If anyone's wondering, its a 1980 kz650e motor in there

Museum? Sounds like somebody is trying to get more money for someone else's custom build. Looks very fast, that's got to be the motor off of like a late 70's 1000cc street bike. Just a guess...

No need to guess, he already told you what the engine is, kz650e, or LTD.

That trike was never in a museum, it's been posted here before. The majority of the frame is kz650e. Kz tank. The front end looks atrocious, possibly ytm components which are weak sauce, now that I see a Yamaha rear hub it looks to be likely... the plastics barely fit. As a side note, Kawasaki used 3 large disc brakes to stop the kz650e, how many do you see in the pic?...

I have never seen a pic of that trike with air filters on it. Kz motors don't like dirt....

Open headers, no air filters, badassery like that often comes with a price tag.

Sorry man but it is what it is. If you're into that sort of thing, go git it!

Does $1400 sound like too much for it? I noticed the brake issue also, would definatley upgrade it id think

Would there be any easy swaps to get a rear of front disk brake on it?

I dont know how else to politely suggest that you not buy it at all.

An understatement to say the least.
