Picked up a mint trike. Only has 250km on it (maybe 130miles). Original tires, spark plug, brake pads, etc etc. Nothing ever touched on it. Came from a 90 year old who bought it new. Tires still have nipples and red paint stripes along the tires. I'm gonna go pick it up in a two or three weeks next time I'm up at my cottage. Ken

I think one just went for like $11k or 12k on ebay. There's a thread about it somewhere.. Hell it's worth $1,000,000 to the right person!:D

LOL. $1000000 sounds fair. It'll be on ebay in a few weeks unless someone makes me a large offer that I can't refuse

Not trying to be a dork but I think it would be best to back up the claim with some detailed pics. We've all heard the "mint" story before. And we all hope they're true; because we like shiny things. Congrats......I think ;-)

Congrats......I think ;-) Hey I hear ya man. The term "mint" has been ruined by morons and liars lol. I'm gonna go get the atc in a few weeks when I'm up there closing my cottage. Even has the original bill of sale and receipt lol.

Ah the old cottage gig in Northern Ontario. Good times we had up there. I had/have relatives in Dorset, Huntsville and Bracebridge.

Deerhurst, lol? After growing up in Niagara Falls, we thought we were truly in the sticks going to Dorset; last civilization was that large service station North of Barrie. I guess travelling up there in the early 70's was a challenge for us in our old piece of crap cars. I remember being suffocated by both parents chain smoking with no A/C in summer rain storms, argh!

No.

A 1987 with 20.4 miles on the speedometer sold for 9k. It wasn't mint either.

Mint means brand new, showroom conditon. Period.

What you have, as well as what 99.999% of people that have a used trike that they consider mint, is called a SURVIVOR. I don't even need pictures to confirm it.

Congratulations.

It was a guesstimate at the price...

It was a guesstimate at the price...I understand that. It was only off by 25% and pertains to a much more rare 87, but here's your trophy anyway.

I'd call that as close to "mint" as you can get. I wish you luck in selling it; should fetch a pretty penny. Nice find!

I wish I could find one even close to that around here. Very nice, too nice for what I want to do to it.

I know what you mean. I have a 1984 Big Red, I have ridden in the yard twice. It also has the stripes left on the tires. I am thinking about selling it, but at the same time I like going to the shop and staring at it. I don't think it is in quite the shape yours is in. It is incredible shape! You are lucky.
