I bought this 1982 Honda ATC 200, which I believe to just be the frame, and the motor is what I believe is a 185s. Anyways, the back right wheel is stripped out, along with the axle. I bought another axle which I was told was off of a 185s and the bolt pattern that holds the chain sprocket is different. Does this piece slide off, or should I try and drill my own holes? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Pictures are almost necessary here for the sprocket issue..

The cylinder should have the cc's cast into it. It will either say 192cc or 180cc.

Here are a few pictures from a previous project. I bought some racks that did not fit so I did some fabrications to make them fit. I will post pictures more
Beneficial to my question later. Thanks

Okay so it was dark and cold and I was in a hurry last night so I could not get pictures. BUTTTT... i found these pictures online of what my problem is. You will notice where it points on the picture at the axle with the number 18. One of them has 4 holes. The other five. When i bought the three wheeler, the one with five holes has stripped splines on one side. I bought another axle, the one with the 4 holes, and have run into this little problem. Does this piece slide off? Or is it part of the axle? It looks to me like it just slides over some splines or something, and I know I should have more pictures but I did not get a chance, and forgot. If needed I can get more pictures up in the future. Has anyone encountered this problem before?204419204420

Your trike looks to be a 200 the trunk behind the seat is what Im going off. The 185s doesn't have the trunk. I have a 83 atc 200 and it looks similar to yours but mine has front shocks.I know the rear axle and bearing carrier on the atc 200 is wider than the 185s. Also 185s has 22 inch tires with 8 inch rims and the atc 200 has 25 inch tires with 9 inch rims.

Yea, I have found out it is a 1983 ATC 200. And knowing the axle is wider is also good information. Now I know this axle will not work. Thanks for the information.

Make sure the piece you get is for a 200 and not a 200s.

The 200s is also different than the regular 200.

Okay thanks. I did not know that was different also. Well I have a 185 axle for sale if anyone is looking for one.
