Try a different brand of spark plug, my Kawi hated NGK plugs, try a Champion and see what happens

Try doing a diagnostic test on the coil with a multi-meater. A quick google search will help you find the procedure. Bad coils can work good when cold, but when they heat up they loose conductivity and don't produce the power needed for a good spark.

When plug is "dead" what color is the electrode? Post a pic if you can

Very strange. Is it black and oily after two hours? Had a tractor pumping lots of oil that would do that.

If if is white and does not appear damaged, that would make me tend to think it might be the coil. Might not be the plug at all, could just be the coil overheating, or bad gas will do that too. Or a bad fuel pump.
