Read through this thread. I bought some and love them. I've used them in the dunes and trails, you can see everything.

After seeing Xowner's stuff in person, I copied him and put LEDs on everything.
I don't know anything about 250ES electrical system. Meaning:
- I assume it's e-start and the engine charges the battery through a regulator/rectifier
- I don't know if the lights run off the battery and get reg/rec DC or run AC straight off the stator
Either way, wiring them up should be straightforward.
My 250R and 350X were easy since they come from the factory with a 12V regulator and powerful lighting coil.
They are both AC regulated to 12V.
Both have a pair of 18W Kawell LEDs I bought off Amazon (1 spot + 1 flood). I wired these up to come on with the stock high beam. I also run home-made LED whips.
The LED whips just plug into the extra tail-light plug.
I had to add plugs to the front part of the wire harness. As I recall, the 350X got a 1 to 4 adapter for both the + and - side but I had to splice into the 250R harness to add plugs.
I did no other mods other than adding plugs.
I made brackets out of aluminum angle to mount the LEDs using the top triple tree clamp bolts.

I have a 72W light bar on the Tecate.
I use the stock stator without issues even thought it's only supposed to put out 60W or so.
Since the stock Tecate light system is unregulated AC, I added a 2-wire 12VAC "dirt bike" regulator.
The light bar is an eBay special.
I made brackets to mount it to the radiator guard.
I made a bracket to mount the regulator by the CDI box.

My last TRX70 was wired like the Tecate but used a 27W round LED I bought off eBay. Also got a 2-wire regulator.
No pics that matter.
The Tecate has great, bright light but I prefer the combination of the smaller LEDs with the stock lights like I run on the X and the R.
